Istanbul is a city that never stands still, a breath suspended between two worlds, where Europe and Asia meet across a ribbon of light and sea. The air smells of coffee, prayer, and salt, and the streets hum with stories, echoes of empires, voices of merchants, and the murmur of tides beneath the bridges. I wandered through mosques that shimmered like dreams, through markets painted with spices and brass, through alleys where cats and children shared the same sun. Everywhere, the light felt sacred, gliding over domes, trembling on the Bosphorus, lingering on faces that seemed carved by time. Through my lens, Istanbul revealed its contradictions: chaos and grace, mystery and familiarity, distance and belonging. It is a place that does not show itself all at once; it unfolds like a prayer whispered in the wind. In every photograph, I tried to capture that pulse, the eternal rhythm of a city that exists between worlds and yet belongs entirely to the light.
